Revolut now operates 122 ATMs across Spain
Just one year after launching its own ATM network in Spain, Revolut has announced that it now operates 122 ATMs across the country, marking another milestone in the fintech’s expansion beyond digital banking.
The company, which serves more than 6.5 million customers in Spain, also revealed plans to expand its network to over 200 ATMs by the end of 2026, with the Canary Islands among the next regions to receive new installations.
The ATM network was developed by Revolut’s engineering teams at its Barcelona TechHub, reinforcing Spain’s role as one of the company’s key innovation centers.
More than 70,000 cards issued and €60 million withdrawn
According to Revolut, its ATM network has achieved significant adoption during its first year of operation.
Since launching in June 2025, Revolut’s ATMs have:
Unlike traditional ATMs, Revolut’s machines allow eligible customers to receive a physical card immediately while also offering cash withdrawals under the same competitive currency exchange rates available in the Revolut app.
Where are Revolut’s ATMs located?
Initially introduced in Madrid and Barcelona, Revolut has gradually expanded its ATM network across several Spanish regions.
Today, Revolut ATMs can be found in:
The company currently operates:
- 20 ATMs in Andalusia, mainly across Seville and Málaga;
- 8 ATMs in the province of Valencia;
- 5 ATMs in the Balearic Islands, primarily in Mallorca and Ibiza.
Revolut has also confirmed that the Canary Islands are next in line as part of its nationwide rollout.
What makes Revolut’s ATMs different?
While many ATMs simply provide access to cash, Revolut’s own network offers several additional benefits for customers.
Key features include:
For example, a customer holding a GBP balance can withdraw euros while benefiting from Revolut’s exchange rates instead of the often less favorable conversion rates applied by many traditional ATMs.
Cash remains important in Spain
Despite the continued growth of digital payments, cash remains widely used across Spain.
According to the Bank of Spain’s 2025 Study on Cash Usage Habits:
These figures help explain why Revolut continues investing in physical infrastructure despite being a digital-first financial institution.
More than 200 ATMs planned by the end of 2026
Revolut says it intends to expand its ATM network to more than 200 locations before the end of 2026, further strengthening its physical presence in Spain.
The company has also announced plans to open its first physical store in Barcelona, where customers will be able to explore Revolut’s products and receive in-person assistance.
Together, these initiatives demonstrate Revolut’s broader strategy of combining digital banking with an expanding physical presence.
What this means for Revolut customers
The rapid expansion of Revolut’s ATM network represents another step in the company’s evolution from a digital-only fintech into a full-service banking platform.
For customers, this means easier access to cash, instant card issuance, and a more seamless banking experience that combines the convenience of mobile banking with physical touchpoints.
With further expansion planned throughout 2026, Revolut’s ATM network is expected to become available in even more cities across Spain.
